Due to the unavailability of the CSST trees that we have used in the Double Wade saddles since 2012, we are undergoing a redesign of our saddle line. The last CSST trees I have available are all in the Rocky Mountain Wade cable rig. The options are as follows:

  • 15.5” seat size, full brown coat

  • 15.5” seat size, uncoated (this tree can be fully covered in leather on the top side)

  • 15” seat size, full brown coat with hand holds cut into the cantle for a unique design option

  • 15” seat size, uncoated (this tree can be fully covered in leather on the top side)

    Our redesigned saddles will heretofore be built on rawhide-covered wood trees that the saddlemaker selects from his supplier, and while we are maintaining the integrity of most of the lighter-weight design features, the cable rigging will no longer be available. Turnaround times are going to stretch out to a minimum of one year from order to completion, so if you’ve been thinking about a Double Wade, now is the time to consider getting one ordered.

The Trail Rider

The Trail Rider is our lightest and most streamlined model. Ideal for new riders who seek simplicity.
